One of my least favorite things in the world is cleaning. I like having a clean room, car and home, but I have a very difficult time getting there. I tell myself I will clean everyday, not just pick up but thoroughly scrub everything, but it never happens. My habits did improve upon working in a restaurant though. Watching the cooks have to really scrub down the ovens, pans and counters, really made me appreciate how easy my cleaning was in comparison. The cooks typically used cleaning brushes for their deep cleaning jobs. These brushes are used in industries that need to remove heavy dirt, rust and metal chips. It can also be used for scraping and dusting, as well as thread and bore cleaning.
Industrial cleaning brushes are essential for a number of industries. These industries include textile, pharmaceutical, food processing, electronics, commercial, automotive, aerospace and medical. In many of these industries cleaning must be completely thorough and done constantly. This is especially true in the medical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries where rust or dirt in the systems could lead to sicknesses and possibly even epidemics. These brushes can be used to clean ducts, instruments, hoses, tubes, glassware, pipes, bottles, jars and conveyor belts.
Twisted-in wire brushes and bristle brushes are the two main types of cleaning brushes. These two main types can be further broken down to specific brushes for certain applications. These include bottle cleaning brushes, flask brushes, utility brushes, tube brushes and duct brushes, amongst others. The bristles of these brushes can be made out of wire, natural fibers, or synthetic fibers. Wire brushes tend to be best for the tougher industrial cleaning applications. While all brushes can be useful, the best option to will depend on the specific application the brush will be used for.
